Greetings from Kuala Lumpur. I was looking for the Chinese Term for “scroll down” as I’m doing a little translation.
Google Search engine brought me to your lovely blog. Impressive! Very informative and inspiring. At first I thought it was written by Taiwanese or Chinese nationality. Surprised to find out that it’s managed by a Malaysian of my age in Canada.
I was looking for your contact to have your kind reply, instead of writing a comment with the hope to hear from you, and posting the many questions I have, finding out unexpectedly that you’re a professional in Medical industry, and endeavour you’re engaged with.
I haven’t gone through your blog thoroughly, but randomly read some post, of your blog, and how you travelled to down under because of Ivory Tower dream, and your supportive parents.
I’m not as lucky as you are as my parents are very conservative on education matters. I consider myself lucky with the support of teachers and friends, that I was able to study locally in Malaysia.
Hope to hear from you. While wishing to travel around the world, your blog will definitely bring me to many places I’ve never been, experience many wonderful moments I did not have the chance to.
Thank you for sharing.
May you be well and happy.
Yours sincerely,
Florence Lim

Greetings from Kuala Lumpur too. On my way to Melbourne, I am now stopover in KL for one and a half week.
Sincerely thank you for your kind words and your sharing of your own experiences. I am very touched and encouraged by them.
For some reasons, your comment had been put into spam box. I usually don’t check my spam box because am very annoyed by the constant bombardment of spams trying to sell viagra in my blog !! Interestingly, I checked spam box today and found your comment in there ! I felt so happy that I checked, otherwise, I might never get to know you. This is not a co-incidence and in Chinese we called it “yuan fen” (缘份). It is wonderful to know you here
Yeah, I do feel very fortunate and appreciative to my dear parents to support my studies and now my life overseas. And you too, as you said equally lucky to have supports from teachers and friends.
I hope you keep up with your dreams, whatever it is. A dream gives motivations and meanings to life. I always believe one day a dream will come true if we persevere and have hope.
The more I read, the more I love your blog (and the blogger!).
Read on your trip to Tibet, comments posted by jiuhukia (at first I thought that was Little Sotong as in Hokkien Dialect, LOL) and gondolier (he includes the pix explaining gondolier. Don’t you feel like rowing boat on Cam River in Cambridge University?!) and their blogs, COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!赞!
There’s so much for me to learn and catch up.
Hope you enjoy your stay back HOME with your family in Kay El.
Thanks for your lovely comments. I am delighted that you enjoy this blog and went to visit my blogging friends. Very happy to get to know you here Keep in touch.

Yeah ! Me too, initially, I was not able to appreciate the beauty of Harbour Bridge till a few years later.

@Pei Lin,
