TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) 是多伦多国际电影节的简写。
近几天, 它令我疯狂, 令我忙!
暂不多写, 忙着研究上映的电影。
先贴上一些美美又有点悲悲的 (除了最后一张)的剧照。
TIFF is the shorthand of Toronto International Film Festival.
I am crazy about it and am busy researching on films that show at TIFF.
Let’s me share some of the beautiful yet depressing (except the last one) images from the films first and I shall write more next time.
(all photos from http://www.tiff07.ca )

The Tracey Fragments (Bruce McDonald)

Disengagement (Amos Gitai)

A Thousand Years of Good Prayers (Wayne Wang)

Blind (Tamar van den Dop)

Very Young Girls (David Schisgall)

My Kid Could Paint That (Amir Bar-Lev)

Hi Shirley
Looks like you’re having a great time! …A thousand year of good prayers…is that from Wayne in Melbourne?
Alice
any good film recommendation so far??
Hi Alice, yeah, you are right !!
A thousand years of good prayers is from Wayne Wong ! But I think he is living in USA. Do you mean it was screened in Melbourne International Film Festival ?
Hi Starman, hmm……yeah, quite a lot of good films I think. But I lost the draw for ‘Lust, Caution’ and ’4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days’ ! I guess I just have to wait till they are wide released. I shall write a post about which films I choose soon
Bonjour Shirley!
Ca va? (haven’t written French since year 12 so hopefully I spelt it correctly!)
I don’t know if it was screened at the Melbourne Film Festival – I just noticed his name in your blog and was wondering if it’s the same Wayne Wong. Didn’t realise he is in the states…good on him though! : )
Au revoir!
Alice
Bonjour Alice !!
( I know nothing about French till I came to Canada and only know a few words now
Oh no !!! Alice, now I understand what you mean. No ! He is not the Wayne Wong we know in Melbourne Soka Gakkai. And it was my typing mistake !! He is Wayne Wang instead ! Wayne Wang in this post is a Film Director who lives in USA. His films include Joy Luck Club.
Sorry for the confusion !
