几天前, 我在上海浦东国际机场转机时, 看到这个大大的”八荣八耻” 的海报，特地拍下来“警惕”自己。
还有一张海报是“出国旅行守则”之类的提示。可惜，没拍下来。
I saw the above poster while I was transiting in Shanghai Pudong International Airport. It was an interesting poster which listed ‘the eight prides and the eight shames’. The title of the poster was ‘The Morality of Socialism’.
The literal translation of the above poster is as followed:

The Eight things that we should be proud of
- to love our homeland
- to serve the people
- to unite and to help each other
- be honest and commit to our promises
- to uphold Science
- to comply with rules and regulations
- be industrious
- to strive hard
The Eight things we should be shameful of are:
- to harm our homeland
- to betray our people
- benefit ourselves by doing things that are harmful to others
- disregard righteousness when we see our personal gains
- being ignorant and foolish
- break the laws and disturb the order
- seeking an easy life without working hard
- being wasteful, decadent and hedonistic
I saw another poster which gives behavioral guidelines if travel overseas. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to take a picture.

I did not end up traveling in Shanghai
Because my airticket not allowed for stopover in Shanghai on my way to Toronto. It was only a transit. I maybe able to stopover in Dec but have not decided yet. Wanna come ? 
I then have a travel partner !

Hi Jackie, hmm…..trying to recall – it was not too visible to all visitors but it was obvious enough. I think it was at one of the main exits or next to toilets or something.
